NEWSLETTER (09:15)
This is a Special GBCP NEWSLETTER related to Arts and the Green Capital
programme.
The Green Capital has an arts stream under which each Neighbourhood Partnership
is awarded ยฃ10,000 for a project. We have opted for a project based in Ashton
Vale. Weโve asked that the project do two main things: 1. build on the
process of community development currently underway in Ashton Vale and 2. link
Ashton Vale more firmly to the wider GBCP area.
Below is a message from Emma Williams who is coordinating the Green Capital
Arts Programme and attached is additional information. In particular, we are
now at the stage of identifying a community artist (or a small team?) to work
on the project. Applications need to be with the Green Capital by 2 April.
If you know anyone who might be suitable, please pass this message on.
Message from Emma,
โ
The Bristol 2015 website has all of the first 6 briefs:

Or you can forward on the attached for this area to your contacts. Iโve also
attached the poster for the Brainstorming Drop In Session for artists on the
7th March which can also be distributed. Thank you very much for all your
support in getting this commission to completion. We very much hope youโll be
on board to help us select the artist(s).
All the best
Emma
