I just want to extend thanks to the city employees who gave up their evening
tonight to participate in the neighborhood night out activities. It was a
beautiful evening, probably one of the nicest all year, and they probably
would have enjoyed spending it with their own friends and families. Our little
gathering was visited by the fire department with a huge rig, the city manager
and police officer, and also the Chief of Police and several Target volunteers.
They obviously had many events to visit and at the same time were patient and
answered lots of questions.
Please pass my appreciation on to all of them.
