Thanks for your email - however if you are looking for a response, I apologise,
but I am unlikely to be able to do this until Friday or Saturday (26th or 27th)

Is there really any point in belonging to a forum which bombards us with this
sort of meaningless trivia, while censoring any really important subjects?
"Censorship" is a very serious charge! And one with which I don't
believe Stephanie, our keeper of civility on the list, would have any
truck.
In all the time we've been going I think this is the first time in
which someone's "out of office" automated message type thing has
disturbed the list which I hardly think counts as "bombarding".
I agree it is a shame that this auto-response was sent to the whole forum. eDemocracy have a procedure that is supposed to stop this happening, but unfortunately this is the second to get through. I have contacted them about this already. But I think this proves that there is no censorship on this forum: if I had the power to stop messages, I would obviously spare you from getting these auto-responses, which I agree are very irritating. I do not even have the power to remove them from the archive. The full rules of all the eDemocracy forums are here: http://e-democracy.org/rules/ As you will see, there is no censorship, but people can be suspended for rule violations.
