of Color July 19 - 21, 2021 β’ Hiawatha Collegiate High School, Minneapolis,
Minn.
High school-aged youth of color are invited participate in fun, intermediate to
advanced-level trainings with experienced coaches from Twin Cites area schools
and clubs. A mentoring program for young coaches of color (19 β 25) to learn
coaching fundamentals and support their younger peers will also take place.
Coaches from Minnesota United Football Club (MNUFC) youth academy will offer a
training experience for participants on the final day of camp. A community
celebration after the final day of training will include a meet and greet with
MNUFC players and coaches, food truck, live DJ and community art project and a
mobile vaccination van provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield (Johnson & Johnson
vaccine, 18+).
