come through I will try to figure out how to send them.
We keep being assured that the Town is keeping an eye on what is happening
with the various lawsuits swirling around the RCS site. I have asked the
Town to revoke the RCS permit due to the irregularities but they say there
is no reason to revoke it. In tonight's BoS meeting, in the Public
Participation Session, when Gerald Bloomfield reiterated how negatively this
project was affecting the neighborhood and asked for an update, one of the
responses was 'This never should have happened.' That implies to me that
someone could have done something to prevent it. So what could the Town have
done to prevent it? What can the Town do now to limit the damage?
On a more concrete level, around August 24 I sent these pictures to the
Planning Board expressing the concern that there is no lock on the chain and
that it would be possible for anyone to walk through the gates into the
construction site, a clear safety hazard. This has not been remedied.
