On Sunday 18 May 2008 from 2pm to 6pm there will be six gardens in Headington
open for charity under the National Gardens Scheme (admission £3.50, children
free).
I am reluctant to list the precise addresses here, as I have no way of deleting
the message on the forum after the event. But if you start in Kennett Road
(where two gardens are opening for the first time under the scheme) you can’t
go wrong.
You can then work your way over to Old Headington, where the other four gardens
are, and recover with tea at Ruskin Hall. (If you haven’t seen the magnificent
and nationally famous Mediterranean garden in Osler Road before, now is your
chance.)
