It's nearly the end of July, and its time for Headington's Farmer's market.
The question is should the market be all day, not just in the morning. To read

Nicholas,
I wonder why you have repeated Charles Young's email to HMNF members, in a
different format, without mentioning the source?

I'm afraid there is little prospect of it being all day. The farmers -
especially the livestock farmers - do need to get back to do farm jobs and look
after their animals in the afternoon. Another constraint is the need to keep
the perishable products fresh and cool. The best that we can hope for is that
they might stay on a bit longer - enough to allow hospital workers to come in
their lunch hour.
I've no objection to anyone reproducing my e-mails anywhere, though the
juxtaposition of the farmers' market with the bit about crime and the need to
lock up raised an eyebrow.
