A while back Julia pointed out that a pharmacy on Rose Hill was open 24 hours.
There is one nearer, Boots on the Tesco retail park have a big sign up for a 24
hour pharmacy, easy parking of course.
I DON T THINK THAT PHARMACY IS OPEN 24 HOURS ..THE ONLY I NOW IS THE ONE IN THE
WOODSTOCK ROAD?
Please don't SHOUT. Isn't the Woodstock Road one called the 10 o'clock Pharmacy? ----- Original Message ----- ----- Original Message ----- From: MANUEL To: Oxford - Headington & Marston Neighbourhood Forum Sent: Tuesday, November 25, 2008 6:42 PM Subject: Re: [HMNF] 24 hour pharmacy I DON T THINK THAT PHARMACY IS OPEN 24 HOURS ..THE ONLY I NOW IS THE ONE IN THE WOODSTOCK ROAD? In case you wonder what Pippa means, usual form protocols are that typing in
UPPERCASE means that you are shouting about something!
Christmas/New Year:
Christmas Day - Rose Hill pharmacy is open from 5pm to 6pm
Boxing Day - Sainsbury's pharmacy at Heyford Hill is open from 5pm to 6pm
New Year's Day - Bliep Chemist on the Abingdon Road is open from 5pm to 6pm
If people choose to use upper case, what difference? It does not offend me
... it's the content that matters.

Sorry but I have to disagree. Using all caps in an email is the equivalent of standing up in a meeting and SHOUTING YOUR VIEWS instead of putting them forward in a more digestible manner. It's accepted protocol that one doesn't use all caps in an email. I find it very distracting. Looking on line, it seems that the 10 o'clock pharmacy actually now closes at 7pm instead of 10pm, on a daily basis. I can't remember its ever having been open 24 hours. ----- Original Message ----- From: Joan Williams To: Oxford - Headington & Marston Neighbourhood Forum Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2008 1:25 PM Subject: Re: [HMNF] 24 hour pharmacy Christmas/New Year: Christmas Day - Rose Hill pharmacy is open from 5pm to 6pm Boxing Day - Sainsbury's pharmacy at Heyford Hill is open from 5pm to 6pm New Year's Day - Bliep Chemist on the Abingdon Road is open from 5pm to 6pm If people choose to use upper case, what difference? The NHS direct website has a “Find a local service” page: http://www.nhs.uk/servicedirectories/Pages/ServiceSearch.aspx?ServiceType=GP If you click on Pharmacies and then enter your postcode, a list of your nearest chemists comes up, and you can click on each one to find its opening hours. Please can we STOP the discussion about capital letters (that was me shouting, but very politely). I think people probably prefer to read things typed in lower-case, so if you can, Manuel, could you please try to avoid typing everything in capitals, because I am afraid there is a convention on forums that they indicate shouting. We are very glad to have you on the forum, Manuel, capitals letters or not.
