This morning we received an automated phone call saying that our account at The
City / County Credit Union is restricted. In order to restore it I was asked
to enter personal information.
First of all, we don't have an account at that Credit Union. Secondly, there
was no way to ask questions without providing the information. Third, banks
would never send automated messages asking for private information.

Today I got an email from Spire credit union (formerly Twin Cities Coops
credit union) warning about similar automated phone calls.
