Hi,
I think most people know about the 14 Neighbourhood Partnerships (NPs) being
established across Bristol and that, as a parallel exercise, the Bristol
Neighbourhood Planning Network, a voluntary sector alliance, is encouraging
each NP to have at least one specialist planning group to advise it. Some NPs
in the north of Bristol have several neighbourhood planning groups built upon
their tradition of amenity societies. There is no such group in Bedminster,
although we did try to set one up about a year ago. Perhaps it's time to try
again. Wotsfink?
And here's another space for the Call for Sites..........
On the eastern boundary of Dame Emily Park there is an area of rough ground.
I think there used to be a scout hut there. One option might be for the
owner, BCC, to sell it for housing with an entry from Lydstep Terrace. My
suggestion would be to extend Dame Emily Park. Ours is a part of Bristol
desperately short of green space.
Cheers, Ben.
