Since Michelle Fure resigned as Forum Manager Tim Erickson has again assumed that role. Since Tim agreed to do this temporarily, we need to find a more permanent solution. Rick Mons has volunteered to take this role until we can find a permanent Forum Manager. Therefore, I move to appoint Rick Mons as temporary Forum Manager, until a permanent replacement is appointed by this committee. Its now been more than 24 hours since the motion was made and seconded. With
six of the seven members of the committee all voting in favor, I think its safe
to declare the motion has passed.
(Rosa Maria voted in favor, but her message came to me privately)
Rick Mons is now the temporary forum manager of the St. Paul Issues Forum. I
plan to post a formal annoucement about this later this afternoon - so Rick has
time to prepare his own introduction/acceptance message.
In the meantime, I've already notified him that the job is his effective
immediately.
