This is the 8th Annual Resource Fair, organized by Gardening Matters, a Twin

gardens in Minnesota, and the gardeners that make them grow.
The day is dedicated to connecting gardeners with the resources, information,
and people that will make them successulf in the 2012 growing season, including
13 different gardening related workshops on topics such as backyard chickens
and beekeeping, food swaps and coops, addressing food justice at a local level,
and composting options for community gardens.
The event this year will be keynoted by Karen Washington, President of the New
York City Community Garden Coalition. Among other things, Ms. Washington will
be sharing her work advocating for land permance for NYC community gardens, and
the power of working in a coalition to achieve common goals.
