I paddled Lake Hiawatha today with my brother and his two year old
daughter. My brother suggested a mid lake dip. I laughed darkly. I am
aware of the seen and unseen pollution. I am aware of the work the Friends
of Lake Hiawatha have put in. Obviously so many others are not. I wish I
could have taken my brother up on his fantastic notion -- that we would
actually swim in this lake. I pledge to help you keep up this monumental
effort and I hope that others can see what a great good it would be to do
what we ought to do.
Thanks, Peter West
