Last evening this dog darted out in front of my wife's car, she didn't
hit him, but got out to check and he was fine. This was on the block of
22nd Avenue between 41st & 42nd street.
As she was standing there petting him a young African-American teenage
boy called out that the dog was his sister's and he would run home and
get a leash - he took off towards Cedar and never returned.
We went all around the neighborhood last night and again this morning
seeking people out walking or driving looking or calling out for their
dog and have found no one. He is about 9-10 months old, a border collie
mix with possibly shepherd or lab, and is not neutered. We took him to
Cedar Pet Hospital earlier today and he has no embedded chip.....
Let me know if you recognize him. He is of course very cute, full of
energy and quite obedient for a pup. I have two teenagers who already
think he's staying at our house......
Thanks,

My photo attachment didn't come through, but he is roughly about 40 lbs,
floppy black ears, white markings between eyes and around nose and neck.
Shaggy black coat with light brown legs, white socks, and curvy tail. I
can send you a picture directly if you wish.
- Jeff

Yes. Jeff, I'm 99% sure that is "Buster" he belongs to the folks at
the corner of 41st street & 24th ave. It is the one that was a grocery
store once upon a time (Right on the corner)
Owner's name Amy and daughter is Leah. Reason I know this is we have
rescued him twice now on his way down our alley to 42nd street. When we
found him he had a break-away collar with no tags. They say he is about
6-9 mo. Let me know if you want any other details I did snap a pict of
him I will email you directly.
