After driving over it in the street the past three evenings as I rounded a
corner on my route to pick up my daughter from the community center, I
finally decided someone should pick up the campaign sign from the middle of
the street. Apparently the people living there didn't care.
It turned out to be a "re-elect Keith Ellison" sign.
If someone cares enough to pick it up, I'll save it for them, otherwise it's
going in the garbage. I'm in 30th and Lincoln block in NE Mpls. Shoot me a
note tonight and I'll give more details if you're coming to get it.
I can assure you I have no use for it. ;-)
I now return you to your regularly scheduled bickering.....

The corrugated plastic signs make terrific siding for dog house or fish houses
as they are both insulating and light weight, as well as water resistant. Sort
of like waterproof cardboard. Just overlap them like shingles. This is a good
recycling method for political graffiti you find on public property or if left
up after the deadline for campaigns to remove it. I have Sharon signs, Barbara
Carlson signs, and a whole lot more. Someday I plan to side a cookhouse cabin
up north where I plan to build a youth leadership camp. Set in the woods with
all those garish signs it will be a good conversation piece for those flying
over.
So if no one wants the sign Kevin please save it for me to add to the cause. I
will pick it up at the next "Heart of The City" party on the 24th of October.
Also do not forget to bring some old wood, if you have any, for the fires to
keep cozy. Anyone else have any old corrugated political signs? Perhaps I will
bring some 2X2s and a staple gun to make a quick fun windbreak for the fire.
