featherbedded graft-machine trash collection plan.
To have trash collected by some rando who’s “administered” by a few more city
employees (paying union dues to the DFL, and getting pensions from all us
taxpayers eventually), I’ll be paying $108 more a year than I do for the small,
ma and pa business that’s done a *wonderful* job and provided me stellar
customer service for the past ten years.
Initially. The rates will go up after all choice has been extinguished. It
never fails.
And in exchange, we’ll get what?
Fewer people dumping trash, because with municipal collection, nobody goes
without? Well, I suppose that explains why there’s no garbage lying around
North Minneapolis.
Mission accomplished (where “mission” = “Create new public-union sinecures to
support the political class”)
