Saturday night, September 2, is Cinema in the Cemetery night. We’ll be
showing the first film in our Vincent Price Film Festival: The Last Man in the
World.
Where: Minneapolis Pioneers and Soldiers Cemetery, Cedar Avenue and Lake

When: Saturday, September 2. Gates open at 7, film starts around 8
What else: Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. There will be snacks and
beverages on sale for $1. Handicapped parking only in the cemetery for this
event but plenty of parking on side streets and bike racks in the cemetery.
Tickets are $10 (cash or check) and kids under 12 are admitted for free.
And for even more fun—Monday, September 4, at 1:30, Laurie Witkowski,
performing artist with In the Heart of the Beast Theatre, will present “The Way
of the Monarch” which follows the spectacular metamorphosis and migration of
the monarch butterfly. This beloved creature transforms from egg to larva to
caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly to international traveler.
