Attached is the Visual Audit from West Street this year. West Street is much
improved on last year with 36% less items on the inventory. Both myself and
the Beat Manager, Paul Singfield, are pleased with these results. We spoke at
length to people as we audited and the general feeling is that businesses and
residents in West Street feel neglected and that other streets in the area get
all the attention. One long time trader on the street has suggested that there
should be greenery of some form on the street and other people do agree with
him.
The results of this audit prove again that auditing is a vital tool in
producing safer and healthier communities.
