Disneyland-quality attractions are not going to cover up the craven misuse of
taxpayer money by city officials. I noted that on the cover of the Southwest
Journal a while ago the projected "scene" on newly renovated Nicollet Avenue,
there was not one black person among the pedestrians.
In related news, I read recently that Hennepin County does not have enough
facilities for children being removed from stressful homes. Please refrain from
saying that the "pot" of money that we have just doesn't cover that area. It's
about having humane priorities.

19. Nicollet-Central Modern Streetcar Project: Professional services contract
amendment (16-01106)
Authorizing an amendment to Contract No. C-35625 with AECOM, extending the
contract to March 31, 2018, and increasing the contract by $224,000, for a
revised contract total of $2,140,000, to complete additional environmental
review and pre-project development tasks for the Nicollet-Central Modern
Streetcar Project.

amendment (16-01107)
Authorizing an amendment to Contract No. C-38559 with ZAN Associates, extending
the contract to March 31, 2018, and increasing the contract by $120,000, for a

outreach professional services for the Nicollet-Central Modern Streetcar
Project.
