construction, change of lane configuration for bikes, mysterious cones
and barriers where nothing seems to be going on, etc? Several people I
know have been wondering about the closing of two major routes
(Portland and Cedar Avenues at 28th St) simultaneously for bridge
repair. I'd be interested to hear what other people's frustrations
are.
It could be a fun project to draw a map of the man-made traffic
congestion, not to mention help alert people to changes. I know that
KBEM radio does traffic alerts regarding freeways using MN DoT traffic
cameras, but it would be great if there were some kind of a map that
people could look at that would be somewhat up to date and cover the
city itself. There is no information on the City of Mpls website that
seems to have this information. Anyone know of such a service?
