August 18 at 7 pm Roseville Library 2180 Hamline Ave. N. Hello, Last
night, Hillary Clinton became the first woman in history to win the nomination
for President by a major American party; but the long road to her achievement
started over a century ago with the struggle for women's suffrage. Next
month, the Roseville Library is proud to co-sponsor a film festival marking the
96th anniversary passage of the 19th Amendment which gave women the vote. I'm
attaching more information to this email. Please help us spread the word about
this interesting and very relevant program. Thanks, Judy Judy Woodward |
