That's exactly right. It's the runoff from streets and some well-fertilized
lawns going all the way back to Lake Minnetonka. When it rains, it gets much
worse. The problem with Hiawatha is that it doesn't really filter the runoff.
It all gets dumped right into the lake. Maybe there's a way that the creek
could be shunted off to the side of the lake rather than going through it.
Like a lot of people around here, I have a dog who loves to swim. And, I won't
let him go into Hiawatha or even get a drink from it.
