There has been a whirlwind of action on the West Side forum. New people
joining at a fast clip thanks to the efforts of Dan Gordon and Gabe Keller and
the rest of the E-democracy Outreach team.
So who ARE the people in your neighborhood? The only way we will know is if
you introduce yourself. How do I do that you may ask? I will repost some of
the information from my July 18th post. Let's hear from you!
To introduce yourself, simply press "reply-to-all" via e-mail or via
the web "Add" your introduction at the bottom of this topic.
Share a bit about yourself and family, how long you've lived in the
area, your community connections, and perhaps your favorite thing
about this neighborhood. You may mention a local issue you'd like us
to discuss in the future as well.
Since this is "the Internet," if you are unlisted (or listed for that
matter) you might want to describe where you live by the nearest major
intersection or landmark and not post the names of minor children.
With over 300 (WOW!) of us here, I’ll will initially be moderating all posts.
We want to open with 'Introductions' only. Once the Forum is underway with
introductions from at least 10 people, we will open for
unmoderated general posting.
