Trick-or-Treating should carry on like a normal year, despite Covid-19.
Trick-or-Treating is done mostly outside, and can be handled safely. I
plan to wear a mask and a visor when I give out candy, and will wash my
hands before I start. That will prevent infection on both sides for the
few seconds Iâm within six feet of the kids.
I no longer take out kids to Trick-or-Treat, but that side is also
manageable. Groups should only be of families already living together,
and kids shouldnât be yelling âTrick-or-Treatâ at the door.
Halloween is one holiday that can safely take place during the
coronavirus, which may not be true for other holidays coming up. Letâs
keep fun in our lives where we can.
