step up so far to support their local Neighbors Forums. Thank you.
With over 1,000 members each, these forums represent what can be built
with more community outreach in every neighborhood!
To inclusively build our network of Minneapolis Neighbors Forums, we
need to print new outreach flyers and get them to our volunteers for
distribution in your area!
So, we've set up a special donation page for Minneapolis:
http://givemn.razoo.com/story/Minneapolis-Forums
As a 501.c3 these donations are 100% tax deductible.
We will dedicate ALL donations to this link to printing materials for
our newer and smaller forums.
If you would like to donate via PayPal instead:

Or mail a check to:
E-Democracy, 3211 E. 44th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55406
Our newer and smaller forums will grow with community outreach.
Some forums cover small areas, but a realistic goal is 30% of
households connected nearly daily. Together we can make that happen.
Overall, our priority for individual donations and forum sponsorship
is to cover our increasing online hosting costs and to help pay for
the mobile-friendly redesign: http://e-democracy.org/design
Thank you for being part of the Minnesota-based non-profit E-Democracy network.

P.S. We had hoped to launch a well funded door to door campaign in
Minneapolis. While we secured huge funding from a national funder that
funds in St. Paul and signed up 4,000+ people at the door step and at
community events with a focus on reaching lower income neighborhoods,
people of color, and immigrants, the local foundations we approached
in Minnesota have other priorities. This means if Minneapolis wants to
connect neighbors online with *inclusion*, it is up to us as community
members to make it happen. While we need volunteers to execute the
outreach, at a minimum we need to cover the printing costs and the
volunteer outreach and coordination costs to get started. Typical
local use of social media based on existing trust is cementing
Minneapolis as a socially segregated city. While online isn't a
panacea, it is real tool we need to use to break the i ice and build
NEW trust and connections across our neighborhoods now,
