Family Seeks Help Finding Missing Autistic Man
GRANTSBURG, Wis. (WCCO) ― A local family is asking for your help to find their
missing 25-year-old autistic son.

Keith Kennedy was last seen on Sunday at Trade Lake Camp in Grantsburg, Wis.,
which is a camp for developmentally disabled adults.


Head counselor Barb Denn says he was on his way back to the bunk house for bed
when he disappeared.

His family said that besides being autistic he is also pretty fragile due to a
kidney transplant. Keith has been taking anti-rejection medication for his
transplant, which happened in 1995. He has missed five "episodes" of the
anti-rejection medication, doctors are worried that his kidney may start to
fail.

Niki Olson, who is helping with the search, says Kennedy only can speak four
words and won't respond to a call.

He is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing an
orange T-shirt and blue jeans.

Linda Kennedy, Keith's mother said the search has been "hell on earth."  She
said she's more emotionally drained then physically drained.

About 180 searchers were involved in the search on Monday and about 150 showed
up Tuesday, according to the sheriff's office.

Those interested in helping in the search on Wednesday are asked to call the
Trade Lake Camp at 715-488-2690.

Keith Kennedy was found today, as reported tonight by the Star Tribune.
