justice-focused Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course. This unique
urban permaculture course covers the traditional curriculum and adds a lens
of Social and Environmental Justice by focusing on People Care in all of
our work.
This 3rd Annual, 12-day course includes 72 hours of standard Mollison PDC
course work, over 20 hours of urban focused teachings, and options for
several site internships. This year our teaching team expands to include
almost a dozen teachers and guest speakers. As facilitators of the Twin
Citiesā longest-running PDC course, we are constantly tweaking and
expanding our curriculum, this year adding an expanded urban orcharding
component.

*āI couldnāt have asked for a better way to be introduced to the
possibility of permaculture as a tool for social and personal
transformation. Big Riverās Urban PDC brought together the practical and
the visionary, the innovative and the inspirational. Recommended for anyone
who wants to enact change for the greater good.ā- CW*
