When you wrote, βEd, Sorry, I was moving a bit too fast last night and didn't
read your question correctly. I don't particularly care where the nice person
who sells me my annual dog license, helps run our water treatment plant, or
reviews my construction project for permitting lives."

question correctly. I agree with you. I don't care where our current City
employees live, I care about where the people hired to replace them will live.
A residency requirement can only apply to new hires.
The Legislature will go back into session for a month. The focus of that
session will be to deal with correcting the systemic racism that killed George

Al Sharpton say residency was one immediate solution. We have every right to
expect that having heard the sermon, you are now a believer.
Another candidate for State Representative District 63A is David Allen Wiester,
of the Legal Marijuana Now Party. He says on his facebook page: "Punk rock
star Jello Biafra once advocated that people should be allowed to vote on which
cops can work in their neighborhood. I think I'm going to adopt that as a
policy position for this campaign."
What's your position?
