All who are concerned about Climate Change and Peak Oil and are
considering how we make the transition to a low energy society will
be interested to know that there will be a showing of the film ' The
Power of Community' at which Roberto Perez from Cuba will be
speaking. Roberto is a permaculture designer and teacher and will
share the Cuban experience of low energy living which has made Cuba
the only country in the world with sustainable development according
to a UN report. This event which is brought to Bristol by
collaboration between 'green' and Cuba Support groups will take place
at the Cube Cinema, Princess Row, Bristol BS2 8NQ. Tickets are £4/£3
and will be available on the door from 7.0p.m. on Tuesday 16th
September ( with the Rednotes choir to entertain early attenders) or
