the addition of 360 apartments near the Staples headquarters

(One of its tenants is moving to Burlington next year. Burlington is pretty hot
right now. Why is that?)
The owner of the crumbling Bancroft Building at 59 Fountain Street wants to
convert the five-story mill building and build a six-story apartment building
on the property, for another 258 apartments downtown
(http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/news/20171114/framingham-fountain-street-project-258-apartments)
(Why no one insists that these multi-level parking garages being proposed be
built underground is a mystery to me.)
Are there any plans to put the brakes on the mad rush to apartments that's
occurring in town? I really would love for us to absorb and examine the impact
of the hundreds of units that are already approved and underway before we give
the green light to 500-1,000 more units at the stroke of a pen.
