I share some mixed feelings, but I wonder if the city announced eleven $50,000
sculptures with the already existing public art fund, if people would freak
out? Apparently, all it takes is just adding water.
I agree to an extent with Michael - if it's a bad idea to have a public art
fund, lets nail that. I don't necessarily think public art that spurts water is
materially more loathsome.
