Hi Matthew,
That would be a shame, for me it sounds a bit like saying DEP has kiddies play
areas so GSP doesnt need them. If there was a Skate board track I am sure it
would get used as much as the BMX, why not both? What are the costs/resources
available?
There is a great example in Royal Victoria Park I think in Bath. Looked like
an excellent compact half pike unit based around scaffolding, not the ugly
concrete ones.
On the Trim trail subject, I've emailed Bristol Parks. As an occasional runner
around the park I think a simple well structured circuit going around the
perimeter of the park would be excellent, i.e. step ups, chin ups, log lifts.
Alot of the stuff available on the market is very expensive but I'm sure you
can get it cheaper bespoke.
Again it comes down to money?. Who do you put a proposal too? and who can tell
you what sort of money constraints you have to work within?
