An alliance of residents' groups in East Oxford has called for Oxford Brookes
University to ban students who live in privately rented accommodation from
keeping cars in Oxford. The University has dismissed the idea, claiming it
would make students "lesser citizens with fewer rights".
Is the student parking situation getting any better in Headington and Marston
now that residents' parking permits have to be paid for? And should there be
any restrictions?
