Dear Cathi and Brady:
THANK you so much for your thorough preparation for the E-mail classes,
submitting your lesson plan, and designing the evaluation that will
serve for other workshops as well.
Even though there was only one participant, she was AN EXTREMELY
satisfied one.
Our work at Rondo is still one a bit of trial and error, and we are
learning as we go what is the best approach to engage library patrons.
A few thoughts.
a) We need to promote the workshops with organizations near Rondo. I
will make
b) We need to develop a system to send info to organizations on a
weekly basis and advertise one or two workshops at a time
c) When can use tabling as a feeder for the workshops in a more direct
manner promote them and sign people in (we need to consult with the
library about this). Have schedules available at the table.
d) We can ask the library to use the public speaking system to let
library patrons know that workshops are about to start in 1/2 hour or
so, have the schedule posted somewhere.
I trust, that it was a worthwhile experience for you. Come over any
time whenever we are tabling.
