I accidentally sent this to an individual member (which is alright) but I meant
it for everyone:
Two things.
First, I was at a historic preservation task force meeting last night and
realized that the facilitator was specifically keeping us away from our
emotions on the subject, trying to keep us on a very logic based process. I'm
curious what your thoughts are on this. I felt like by not addressing the
emotion we are only building a tempest in a teapot but perhaps I'm wrong,
perhaps delving into the emotion would be like opening pandora's box? Any
thoughts?
Secondly, I want to invite everyone to come out tonite to our
Conversation|Arlington event to discuss the Northam Park Area (Park, School,
Library, Senior Center, Pools) which requires some redevelopment and we're
looking to get some participant led direction.
This will be an open space format conversation. If you live in UA, or utilize
the resources there, please come and be heard.
