Just a reminder, that later this month St. Paul E-Democracy will be electing
two members to our Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is the group
that sets the policies and priorities for St. Paul E-Democracy.
We are looking for people with an interest in helping us support and further
develop our community based organization commited to - "improve the quality of
public policy decision making in St. Paul by broadening public participation
and by linking the diverse voices of the citizenry to community leaders and
elected officials in a civil and respectful exchange of information and ideas."
Questions that the Executive Committee will likely be dealing with over the
next year:
A - How can St. Paul E-Democracy play a more active role in
engaging the community in upcoming local elections?
B - How can we use digital tools to better connect the diverse
voices in our community to local officials?
C - How can we partner with other local organizations and
institutions to deepen the community dialogue on important
issues that affect us all?
We'll be electing two members to our nine member committee. So far, the
following folks have identified themselves as candidates:
1) John F. Krenik
2) Gary Thompson
3) -- Your Name Here --
