I guess this show the difference between Republicans and Democrats.
Barbara Boxer is "a female senator" to Democrats. To Republicans, Sarah Palin
is "the governor of Alaska".
(We won't mention that Barbara Boxer is by far the stupidest person currently
serving in the US Senate).

Abraham Lincoln had "not an hours' worth of experience" on national issues.

If Babs thought "attracting Hillary Clinton voters" was the primary motivation,
it explains a lot, since...

...THAT is why Palin's on the ticket; she shores Mac up *on the right*.

Further evidence, if any were needed, of Boxer's disconnect from reality. The
last thing McCain needed was another Senator of *any* gender; he's got that
base covered vastly better than Obama and Biden rolled together. Palin is
young, but she's a born leader on a lot of issues that matter to Republicans
and other real Americans. And there is no need to add a "moderate" like
Hutchison or a Stage IV liberal like Snowe when Mac already fills the
"moderate" role all-too-well for the base.
