Post in Back-up Daycare in Standish-Ericsson?

I am a licensed daycare provider in the area.  Finding backup daycare is
difficult.  The reasons are as follows:

1.  There is not enough daycare here, in the 55406 and 55417 zipcode area in
Jaunary had no openings at any of the daycare homes.

2.  The county requires us to have so much paperwork on every child in our care
that it is hard to keep up on all the changes on drop in care.  I always tease
my new parents that they will feel like they are buying another house when they
have finished all of the forms and signatures required by law.  Many of us are
also on the food program for our daycare children so parents know they are
getting good meals while in our care, but that also means more paperwork and
forms.  Plus license workers and food program personal can stop by at anytime
with no warning to make sure you are following the law.

3.  Also it is difficult keeping all of the payments and income reports for all
the drop in child at tax time.

We know it is hard to work around everyones illness and vacations but the
county does not give us any freedom.  We have to have paperwork on every child
here during daycare hours.
