The first batch of daylilies disappeared within 24 hours.
I am out of diaper boxes so I've put the second and final bunch right on the
curb ready for pick-up. Bring a box, pickle bucket, or something and grab as
many as you like. A few clusters were chopped up on top by water overflowing my
gutters above, but they will grow just fine.
Sunday looks to be a great day to get out in the yard.
Pick them up at 3211 E. 44th Street - right on the curb near the alley - can't
miss them.
Also, I have about seven chunks of those yellow flowers I mentioned before:
I will also have some kind of tall 6'-8' yellow flower - someone called it a
perennial sunflower once that I need to dig away from the alley. You'd
definitely want to grow this against a wall or fence. It flowers from July to
September!
...
Finally, if you'd like some phlox or I forget to mention as much lily of the
valley as you like, just drop me a note: clift (at) publicus.net
