Sorry, I will try to send this note again, without attachments. I did
attempt to send attachments with some maps and a flyer but they were
undeliverable. Please contact me directly if you are interested in the
maps (flyer) that I outlined below.
Thanks,

Thank you Nicole for your interest in gathering and biking in the Roseville area. There is always lots to celebrate! Attached are several maps that may help you plan. Specifically included is a 10 and 25 mile planned bike route through beautiful Roseville and its parks, plus a 2007 parks, pathways and facilities map. This year on Sunday June 24th beginning at 9:00 a.m. there is a scheduled Tour de Roses family bike ride meandering thru Roseville's beautiful parks, calming lakes and quiet neighborhoods (registration flyer is also attached). Proceeds from the event benefit the North Suburban Youth Foundation which is an organization dedicated to the enhancement and enrichment of the lives of youth in the North Suburban community. Please check out the City of Roseville Parks and Recreation web site at www.cityofroseville.com/parks for more fun things to participate in. BTW- City Hall is open on most Saturday mornings and is considered a great community gathering place where neighborhoods and community groups are encouraged to come together, meet, gather, converse. It is best to verify with Roseville Parks and Recreation at 651-792-7103 if you schedule a meeting event. Roseville Parks and Recreation is always interested in meeting community interests. If you or anyone out there is interested in beginning a community biking club or other healthy initiatives, we would like to sit down and explore them. Several folks have expressed interest in a bike ride of Roseville. I think it is an interesting way of learning about the infrastructure that Roseville has provided for cyclists and to see some of the interesting sites that have been talked about. One idea was that we could visit a few spots and then end at a community meeting place. Does Roseville have a popular gathering location? A favorite local park? A neighborhood restaurant? The library? Someone posted about the local American Legion celebrating clean air so that could be a possibility. Is City Hall open on Saturday? We could start there and talk with our local community leaders. Perhaps they may even join our ride. :) Next we could see the infamous Roseville donkey. Other suggestions were to see the Twin Lakes Development area, the lot that caused the Lot split debate, or some of the heritage homes in the area. Do you have any suggestions? The more suggestions, the more rides that can be planned. :) Nicole Waxmonsky-Tu Falcon Heights More info: Info about Nicole Waxmonsky-Tu: http://forums.e-democracy.org/contacts/nicoletu This topic's messages may be viewed at: http://forums.e-democracy.org/r/topic/2lNajEW3BWEEJzAnwbrynZ ----------------------------------------- To post, send your message to: <email obscured> To unsubscribe type "unsubscribe" (without the quotation marks) in the subject line and send to: <email obscured> More info about Roseville Issues Forum: http://forums.e-democracy.org/groups/roseville-issues E-Democracy.Org rules: http://e-democracy.org/rules ----------------------------------------- Special thanks to our friends at OnlineGroups.Net for their technical support in maintaining this site. http://onlinegroups.net
