grassroots effort of the Midtown vendors and South Minneapolis
neighbors, the Midtown Farmers' Market offers local, sustainable foods
and unique arts and crafts in a colorful, vibrant urban setting. Opening

the most anticipated neighborhood garage sales of the season. Most sales

*- Sat & Sun, May 3 & 4, 10:00-5:00 p.m. - Living Green Expo*. The
Living Green Expo is a free, annual event that provides information and
products to help Minnesotans improve the environmental and social
impacts of their day-to-day living. The Expo features over 200
exhibitors of products, services, and information, along with over 60
workshops on a variety of sustainability and green living topics. Expo
attractions include music, art, food, demonstrations, and activities for
youth and children. Minnesota State Fair Grounds - Grandstand, St. Paul.

*- Sun, May 4, 1:00 p.m. - The* *34^th Annual May Day Parade and
Festival* is eagerly anticipated by tens of thousands who flock to the
parade route and ceremony site to join this joyous spring ritual. The
parade begins at 26th St. and Bloomington Ave. and proceeds up
Bloomington Ave. to Powderhorn Park (E. 35th St. and 15th Ave. So.) for

- *Klodt, Inc has appealed two site plan review conditions placed on its
proposed multi-family dwelling (apartment building) at 3725-29 29^th Ave
S*, and the Zoning and Planning Commission will hear this appeal on
Thursday, May 8 at 9:30 a.m. In short, the conditions limit the
structure to 40 feet in height and require the 4^th floor to be set back
