And it isn't new. All of us who have been involved in politics for a long
time know that political campaigns have to pay a huge connect charge for
telephone service because the 1968 Humphrey campaign stuck AT&T for a
multi-million phone bill back then paying one cent per thousand dollars owed at
the
settlement.
