I'm sorry to leave you all hanging so abruptly. I think I've sorted
out the "attachment" problem. If I'm correct and if this works, it
means that the problem has nothing to do with this specific forum -
but is rather a software bug that is specific to HOW I tried to attach
the file.
It turns out, that if Mac users export a photo directly from iPhoto
into Mail and then send it to one of our forums, it won't work. If,
HOWEVER, the photo is attached in the regular way, it SHOULD work. (We
don't plan to fix the iPhoto bug anytime soon, as it effects a VERY
NARROW range of people and we have other priorities).
All of this is theory, that will be proven true or false by the
results of this email.
Again - when everything is working correctly, you can attach a file or
photo to an email to this group. In theory, your attachment will be
stripped from your email and inserted into the group library. A link
to the file will then be inserted into your message, as demonstrated
below (fingers crossed!!!!).
