Welcome to the forum Kris. Glad that you've joined in and contributed
some of the ongoing topics in the forum. This forum gets its life from
the individual members who take the time to comment on other peoples
posts and ask questions of other members.
At least one member of the forum contacted me, because they were
confused about the context of the two topics that Kris commented on
this morning. "Electrical Service" and "The Chipotle Gap." For web
users, its pretty obvious that these are "dormant" topics in the forum
that have not been commented on for a while. However, for our email
users, the connection is less obvious.
Yes, both of these posts were additions to fairly old topics in the
forum. One way to put a message like this into context (for email
users), is to find the link at the bottom of every message that says
"This topic's messages may be viewed at:" A click on this link, will
take you back to the entire topic - regardless of how old the topic is.
I think its great to have a topic like "The Chipotle Gap" resurrected
after being dormant for over a year. This was a topic that I started
in January of 2007 and Kris's comment, was in direct response to a
post by Paul "Wog" Kuettel. For Kris's sake and anyone else who is
unaware, Paul actually passed away this last year (see Topic in St.
Paul Issues Forum):
