This advice applies to those of you who are participating in the forum by email
(as opposed to going to the website, where it is pretty obvious how to reply).
If a message comes in with [HMNF] in front of the heading, it is coming from
the forum, and will already be sitting on this webpage:
http://forums.e-democracy.org/groups/oxford-hm
You can easily participate by email, however, without ever visiting that
webpage.
You may already have noticed that if you just click "Reply" in the normal way,
your reply will not go to the whole forum, but just to the person who sent it.
The simple way to reply to the whole forum is to click your email's REPLY TO
ALL option. This way, the sender will get an immediate personal reply and the
whole forum will also get the message via "cc".
Two pieces of advice:
(1) If you have an automatic signature that comes on your messages, don't
forget to delete it before sending your message if you don't want your personal
details (e.g. telephone number and address) published on the forum;
(2) Remember that you are limited to two postings a day.
This is all a lot easier than it sounds, I promise you.
