If you are finding the number of messages arriving in your Inbox is too much,
you can still keep an eye on this forum by opting for digest mode. That means
that you will then receive just one message per day containing all the
postings made over the last 24 hours.
Just send a message to: <email obscured>
with the following two words in the *subject line*:
digest on
You *don't* need to put anything at all in the body of the message. It really
is as simple as that. The computer will know who you are from your email
address.
I know that this (and other useful information) is inserted automatically at
the end of every email sent to forum members, but many people who have joined
HMNF are completely new to forums, and won't understand what digest mode is.
Ppeople who haven't been on a forum before are particularly welcome here, so
don't unsubscribe please. Otherwise when something that really matters to you
comes up you may well miss it. And of course no one except myself is obliged
to read all (or even any) of the messages :-)
