The Canterbury Public Issues Forum opened on 1 April 2007.
Purpose
The purpose of the Canterbury Public Issues Forum
is to increase the opportunity for Cantabrians to participate in the local democratic process.
Goals
The goals of Canterbury Public Issues Forum are:

to have active conversations about a wide range of topics that are relevant to Canterbury and Christchurch, and
-
to reflect a wide range of points of view.
Typical Topics
Topics that you might find here to discuss include:

issues relating to Christchurch, and
-
issues relating to Canterbury.

By taking part in this forum, you accept the
full rules of the forum.
