After meeting with Steven Clift and a few other forum members we have decided
to open the forum up to include other local discussions. These topics can
include anthing from local crime and lost pet notifications to service provider
inquiries and community event announcements. The forum's primary mission
remains increasing civic participation in the community, but discussions
outside of the political sphere are now welcome as well. The forum rules have
not changed.
I would also like to remind members that there are now several options on how
to recieve email notifications. Simply click on the "Email Settings" tab on
the left hand side of the Winona Community Issues page and choose the setting
that works best for you. Currently you can choose to be notified every time
someone posts, get one daily digest of all of the posts of the day, or not
recieve an email at all.
