Bill the Juggler will provide high-energy juggling and comedy as part of the
Saint Paul Public Library's Summer Reading Program on Thursday July 19 at 10:30
am.
The North End Book Club will discuss Marley and Me by John Grogan on Monday

Also on Monday July 23 from 6:00-8:00 pm, job searchers can practice their
interviewing techniques with Mock Job Interviews. A job search assistant from
Goodwill-Easter Seals will provide interview practice and advice.
Chemists in the Library will visit on Saturday July 27 from 1:00 to 3:00. Stop
in and learn how to perform easy and fun chemistry experiments.
Get a look at various e-readers or learn how to borrow library e-books for your
e-reader at an E-reader Clinic on Monday July 30 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
In addition to special events, the Rice Street Branch Library also offers a
wide variety of free, on-going activities for kids, teens and adults.
The Kids’ Summer Reads program is Monday-Friday from 1:00-5:00 pm. Join our
AmeriCorps VISTAs for crafts, songs, movies and many other reading-related
activities.
Get creative with technology! Drop in for Technology Time on Monday, Tuesday or
Thursday and for the CREATECH Lab on Wednesday. Create digital art, make a
website, blog, create beats and music, and much more! Don't know how? Don't
worry! Library staff and the Teen Tech Crew will be available to help!
The Collectors' Corner Neighborhood Trading Post is open Wednesdays from
4:00-7:00 and Saturdays from 11:30-2:30. Bring a tradable natural object to
the library and volunteers from the Science Museum of Minnesota will help you
learn more about it.
Story time is offered on Friday mornings at 10:30. Join Rice Street’s
storytelling experts for stories, finger plays, rhymes, and songs.
The English Language Conversation Circle meets on Sundays from 2:00 to 3:30.
The Circle is for adults and teens interested in improving their English
speaking skills.
Computer Coaching is available on Tuesdays from 1:00-2:00 pm. Receive free
one-on-one computer training. Get help with what you want, whether it’s signing
up for email, typing in Microsoft Word, posting pictures, or selling on
Craigslist.
Free Computer classes will also be offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and

Free Job Search Assistance is offered on Fridays from 10:30-12:30. A consultant
from Goodwill-Easter Seals provides help with job applications and resumes.
