Just a question...
for the past month I have been receiving Mpls council committee feeds stating
that some committees are not meeting around the time of the RNC.
Today at the Mpls. Charter commission, the next meeting was tentatively
scheduled during that week...until more is known.
Anyone know if this is a scheduled summer break, avoiding any transportation or
meeting conflicts, emergency preparednessor something else?
Is this also occuring in St Paul?
Not that I will miss listing the meeting agendas...or anything or anything like
that..
Don't know if any school or park meetings, county, met council, etc. meetings
have been canceled.
best wishes,

From what I've heard, businesses and public offices are trying to prevent
employees or members of the public from having to deal with huge crowds and
no place for anyone to park. My understanding from some of the private and
public sector employees who are not required to physically be in their
downtown offices is they are to make arrangements to work from home.
But as we have many of these people on the Issues Forum, what are you being
told?
...during DNC. Question answered.
Any impact on Mpls. Planning Commission referrals?

" Several of Minneapolis City Council's committees will halt for five weeks as
council members' political duties and an off week coincide.
